I know these may not be the right mailing lists to send to, but I was
wondering if someone could help me with this problem.
I'm making a virtual control panel for a virtual server and I need to
operate some commands as root. Is there a way I could do this in PHP if
PHP is set up as a module in Apache? It would be nice to use .htaccess
for authentication and somehow grab that information so that PHP realizes
which user is editing their profile and create a session ID. How could I
encorporate this into PHP? Thanks for any help or suggestions in advance.
