you can use dreamweaver when you

a) use asp style tags to surround your scripts " <% %>" which may need a
modification in Your Webserver configuration
b) use <script language="php"></script> tags which needs modification, too,
maybe

the there are several methods to separate your html code from the scripts -
i like to edit scripts in homesite and templates in dreamweaver.

Hi everyone,
     As many of you I'm coming from the Cold Fusion-NT world to
PHP+MySQL much better environment. And I believe that many
of you have also used Macromedia's Dreamweaver to edit
HTML+Cold Fusion files in the WISIWYG mode.
     Now I can't use DW anymore because it doesn't understand
PHP code. I believe there is a way of adding PHP support in
Dreamweaver in the same way you may do it for Cold Fusion
installing a plug-in. Does anyone have any idea of how to do
it, or even if there is something available to make life
easier when creating cool templates with PHP?
     Meanwhile I'm back to coding in ASCII editors (by the way,
I'm using Programmer's File Editor, which is just great and
is free).
