Interesting!! I had been thinking of doing this for a long time.

What do you think the slowdown would be if you were getting 30,000 hits
a day? (Where our site is at now.) - Is that a lot or a little?

I tried searching the archives but didn't find the benchmark you
mentioned.

(I have 1000 old .htm pages that I would love to add some PHP functions
to, but not break the links, for search engines' sake)
