Funny you should mention that... I've tried getting PHP to read
a php3.ini file but it still won't. I've created one that I've
placed in the /usr/local/lib directory, another in the /etc directory,
and I've restarted the web server, and even rebooted. I'm running PHP3
as an Apache module. It came as-is when I installed SuSE 6.1 on my
system (Apache with a whole bunch of modules including PHP3). Didn't
come with a php3.ini file anywhere though (searched for it). So I
read the docs and created one with the available info, but it still
doesn't take any of the settings I've placed in it.
Coming back to my previous question, is there a way to fix this without
reinstalling PHP3? Or should I get the latest source code and reconf
from scratch?
Thanks for your help!
Emmanuel
