Hi -
As a fellow Mac/BBEdit user...
I talked to BareBones last year about this. They currently don't
support user-written syntax highlighting definitions, but they said
they had a lot of interest in PHP and it was on the 'to-do' list.
Perhaps if you emailed 'em, it would help to push it up a notch or 2
on the list.
In the meantime, there is a version of Emacs for the Mac -
http://my.ispchannel.com/~pjarvis/xemacs.html
- (now why didn't he call it MacEmacs :?), and there are PHP support
files for Emacs out there somewhere; you'll probably need to search
the list archives.
Downloading & playing with this is on _my_ to-do, so I don't know
much about this setup.
