[PHP3] Memory footprint of php From: Shane Adams (adamsch1 <email protected>)

What is the core memory footprint in php? Should
memory consumption go up as more (new) pages are
initially parsed? A ballpark size per page (I know)
would be great.

Also - how do you get around the scaling issue in
regards to opening so many connections (1 per apache
child) to the database? Especially if you are running
a site with more than one web server?

Thanks - I looked around on the FAQ and web sites but
didn't get my answers so I ask here.
