One of the things I like about this list, is the answer is rarely just
rtfm, at least you get a section in the manual. In the case of the string
split, I was looking in the wrong place, trying to use preg_replace
repeatedly like I would in perl, and it didnt work. All I need was a hint
of a pointer to something else. I couldnt find the 'split' function' from
the top level in the manual, and was quite frustrated. I wasted over 4
hours on the problem until someone posted a reply on the list, for which I
was most gratefull.

IMHO, This is one of the best mailing lists around, and I have retreived
more usefull information off of here in a week, than most other mailing
lists/newsgroups in a month.

I don't post questions that often because other people have posted the
exact same question I was looking for quite recently, and I have the
answer already! Talk about support ;)
