I used to use it to ensure that configure caches were cleaned. This
seems to have been removed in the latest CVS.

Also, in the following URL ASF member Ken Coar mentions that PHP4
supposedly allows one to compile PHP4 both as a CGI and an Apache
module via a single build. Any ideas how
