Well FWIW, it's not Zend dying, it's just reporting problems that were most
probably caused from bugs in some of the function implementations in PHP
(at least that's the way it looks).

Please try to reduce the script to the smallest script that still causes
this problem to occur. If you can create a reproducible snippet, that
doesn't require any special modules installed, it'd be extremely easy to fix.
