pfsockopen

(PHP 3>= 3.0.7, PHP 4 )

pfsockopen --  Otevře perzistentní (přetrvávající) socketové spojení v internetové nebo unixové doméně

Popis

int pfsockopen ( string hostname, int port [, int errno [, string errstr [, int timeout]]])

Tato funkce se chová naprosto stejně jako fsockopen(), s tím rozdílem, ľe spojení se po skončení skriptu neuzavře. Je to perzistentní verze fsockopen().
